Connect Google Sheets

Problem

You need QuillDock to read a Google Sheets source before you can continue Configuration / Source.

Who this is for

Operators using QuillDock to publish from Google Sheets into a Wix CMS collection.

What you will see

  • Configuration / Source asks you to connect Google Sheets
  • QuillDock sends you through Google sign-in and approval
  • After connection, QuillDock asks you to choose a spreadsheet and worksheet tab
  • Continue stays disabled until QuillDock can read the source schema
  • If Google approval is denied or the callback cannot finish, QuillDock returns with a friendly reconnect banner and may show a short support code

Likely causes

  • Google Sheets is not connected yet
  • the connection was denied or expired
  • the spreadsheet or worksheet tab is no longer readable
  • the selected sheet exists but QuillDock cannot read a usable schema yet

Step-by-step resolution

  1. Open Configuration / Source in QuillDock.
  2. Choose Google Sheets.
  3. Select Connect Google Sheets and finish the Google approval flow.
  4. Return to QuillDock and choose the spreadsheet you want to use.
  5. Choose the worksheet tab QuillDock should read.
  6. Wait for the schema preview to show readable fields.
  7. Select Continue once QuillDock shows the source as readable.

If it still does not work

  • Retry the Google connection once.
  • Confirm the spreadsheet and worksheet tab still exist.
  • Confirm the Google account you connected can read that spreadsheet.
  • Choose a different readable spreadsheet or tab if the current one is unavailable.

When to contact support

Contact support if QuillDock keeps failing after reconnecting, if no readable spreadsheets appear, if the sheet looks correct but schema preview never becomes available, or if the same support code keeps returning after a fresh reconnect attempt.
